September 7, 2013

Conference Forms

Our mission is to better equip educators to teach social studies by providing an opportunity for professional development and networking as well as resources and materials for the classroom. This year's theme includes such session topics as :

  • State and Regional History
  • Multicultural History
  • Civics, Government and Economics
  • Elementary
  • Interdisciplinary Instruction

"I look forward to this workshop every year. Presenters share their unique expertise and passion for social studies with teachers looking for ways to bring their instruction alive in the classroom. I know I will go back to school with increased awareness of history in my own backyard and innovative ideas to share with my students."
